ip tcp adjust-mss

Adjusts the TCP maximum segment size (MSS) to improve the throughput for the TCP session over a Fabric Extend (FE) adjacency.

Syntax

default ip tcp adjust-mss
ip tcp adjust-mss [<500-1900>] [enable]
no ip tcp adjust-mss enable

Command Parameters

enable: Enables the functionality.
<500-1900>: Specifies the Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) size for each packet.

Default

The default is disabled. The default value, when enabled, is 1300.
