area

Use the area command to define the area identification of the OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) interface.

area area_id

Parameters

area_id

Specifies an integer or an IP address defining the OSPF area

Examples

The following example sets the OSPF area to Area 0:

EWC.extremenetworks.com:ip:ospf# area 0.0.0.0
