SMON

Switch Network Monitoring Management (MIB) system defined by the IETF document RFC 2613. SMON is a set of MIB extensions for RMON (Remote Monitoring) that allows monitoring of switching equipment from a SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) Manager in greater detail.
