The following sections describe the meanings of the LEDs on the X670-G2 series switches.

| Off | No external power is attached | |
| FAN 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 | Steady green | Normal operation. | 
| Blinking amber | Failure. | |
| Off | No power. | |
| P1, P2 (Power Supply) | Steady green | Normal operation. | 
| Steady amber | Power is attached, but no power is on. | |
| Blinking amber | Power failure. | |
| Off | No power is attached. | |
| Ethernet Port 1-48 or 1-72 | Steady green | Link OK. | 
| Blinking green | Activity on the indicated port. | |
| Off | No link or port disabled. | |
