About GuestPortals

A GuestPortal provides wireless device users with temporary guest network services. A GuestPortal is serviced by a GuestPortal-dedicated VNS. The GuestPortal-dedicated VNS is configured by an administrator with full administrator access rights. For more information, see Creating a GuestPortal VNS.

A GuestPortal administrator is assigned to the GuestPortal Manager login group and can only create and manage guest user accounts — a GuestPortal administrator cannot access any other area of the Wireless Assistant. For more information, see Defining Wireless Assistant Administrators and Login Groups.

From the GuestPortal Guest Administration page of the Wireless Assistant, you can add, edit, configure, and import and export guest accounts.
