Fixing a Duplicate IP Address

If a DAD check declares an IP address duplicate, the address remains duplicate until a later DAD check declares the IP address valid, or until the affected VLAN (Virtual LAN) is configured as a loopback VLAN. To make the interface IP address valid, do either of the following:

Correct the duplicate address situation and enter the run ip dad command.
Disable the host VLAN, correct the duplicate address situation, and bring up the interface.
