The reauthentication timer is applicable for all the cases when session timeout is not sent by RADIUS (Remote Authentication Dial In User Service). Clients moved to authentication success, authentication failure VLAN, and service unavailable VLANs can be reauthenticated using this timer. If the switch receives the session-timeout attribute during authentication, the switch uses that value to set the reauthentication period.
To configure the reauthentication period for network login MAC-based authentication, use the following command:
configure netlogin mac timers reauth-period
