LLDP

LLDP (Link Layer Discovery Protocol) may receive mapping requests from the CLI and from attached Fabric Attach clients. The CLI prevents you from configuring multiple static (CLI sourced) mappings for a VLAN. When a VLAN to NSI/ISID mapping is configured through the CLI (see Configuring Fabric Attach), the mapping is entered into the database and is persistent across device reboots, whereas mappings requested by Fabric Attach clients are not persistent.
