The example in this section shows how to create a profile that takes action based on the MAC tracking feature. When the MAC tracking feature detects a MAC move in a VLAN (Virtual LAN), the MAC tracking feature generates an EMS log, which then triggers a profile.

You can also use the Identity Management feature to configure ports in response to MAC device detection events. For more information, see Identity Management.
