Adding a Permanent Entry to the ARP Table

If you disable ARP learning, you must either manually add a permanent entry to the ARP table or configure DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) secured ARP to populate the ARP table.

Manually add a permanent entry to the ARP table using the command:

configure iparp add ip_addr {vr vr_name} mac
