Managing Direct Attach to Support VEPA

You should only enable the Direct Attach feature on ports that directly connect to a VM server running VEPA software.

To enable or disable the direct attach feature on a port, enter the command:
configure port port reflective-relay [on | off]
To see if the direct attach feature (reflective-relay) is enabled on a switch port, enter the command:
show ports information detail

Note
When the Direct Attach feature is configured on a port, the port number cannot be included in the port list for a static FDB (forwarding database) entry. For example, the Direct-Attach enabled port can be the only port number specified in a static FDB entry, but it cannot be included in a port-list range for a static FDB entry.
