Troubleshooting MPLS

The ExtremeXOS software includes multiple mechanisms for detecting and reporting problems.

Many failures generate an SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) trap or log an error message. To find out more about a problem, you can enter show commands and review the flag states in the command output. The software also includes some MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) troubleshooting tools, which are described in the following sections.
