Remote Mirroring Using Layer 3

To use remote mirroring using Layer 3, enable IPv4 forwarding along the routed path to the device collecting GRE-encapsulated mirrored packets, also known as ERSPAN. Then, configure the collector device's IP address as the remote IP adddress in the following command:

enable mirror {mirror_name} to remote-ip remote_ip_address {{vr} vr_name} {from [source_ip_address | auto-source-ip]} {ping-check [on | off]}]
