IPv4 addresses with 31-bit prefixes can be configured on network VLANs and the management VLAN. Applications and protocols can use these IPv4 addresses.Note
Each IP address and mask assigned to a VLAN must represent a unique IP subnet. You cannot configure the same IP subnet on different VLANs on the same virtual router (VR).
The software supports using IPv6 addresses, in addition to IPv4 addresses. You can configure the VLAN with an IPv4 address, IPv6 address, or both. See IPv6 Unicast Routing for complete information on using IPv6 addresses.
