option (dhcpv4-pool-config)

Configures raw DHCP options. The DHCP option must be configured under the DHCP server policy. The options configured under the DHCP pool/DHCP server policy can also be used in static-bindings.

option <OPTION-NAME> [<DHCP-OPTION-IP>|<DHCP-OPTION-ASCII>]

Parameters

option <OPTION-NAME> [<DHCP-OPTION-IP>|<DHCP-OPTION-ASCII>]

<OPTION-NAME>

Sets the name of the DHCP option

<DHCP-OPTION-IP>

Sets DHCP option as an IP address

<DHCP-OPTION-ASCII>

Sets DHCP option as an ASCII string

Note

An option name in ASCII format accepts a backslash (\) as an input, but is not displayed in the output. Use theshow > running > config command to view the output. Use a double backslash to represent a single backslash.
