Profile Config Commands

Configures a management server with this profile. This command is also applicable to the device configuration context.

Supported in the following platforms:

  • Access Points — AP505i, AP510i/e, AP560i/h
  • Service Platforms — NX5500, NX7500, NX9500, NX9600, VX9000

Syntax

management-server <HOST-NAME> port <1-65535>

Parameters

management-server <HOST-NAME> port <1-65535>
management-server <HOST-NAME> port <1-65535> Configures a management server with this profile. Use this command to identify the management server.
  • <HOST-NAME> – Specify the management server‘s host name.
    • port <1-65535> – Specify the port where the management server is reachable. The default setting is port 443.
Note: If the adoption-mode, on this profile, is set to ‘cloud‘, ensure that the management-server configuration points to the ExtremeCloud Web address. If the adoption-mode is set to ‘ws-controller‘, provide the ExtremeCloud Appliance controller‘s IP address or hostname as the management server.
