Basic MLD Configurations

Basic MLD Configuration describes the basic steps to configure MLD on S- K- and 7100-Series devices. This procedure assumes that the VLANs on which MLD will run have been configured and enabled with IP interfaces.

Basic MLD Configuration

Step	Task	Command
1	In switch mode, configure MLD for each VLAN interface.	set mld config vlan-list {[query-interval query-interval] [mld-version mldversion] [max-resp-time max-resp-time] [robustness robustness] [last-mem-int last-mem-int]}
2	In switch mode, enable MLD on each VLAN interface.	set mld enable vlan-list
3	In switch mode, enable MLD querying on each of the VLANs specified in step 2.	set mld query-enable vlan-list
