Adjusting MSTP Parameters

You may need to adjust certain Spanning Tree parameters if the default values are not suitable for your bridge configuration. Refer back to Adjusting Spanning Tree Parameters and Adjusting RSTP Parameters for information on adjusting Spanning Tree defaults. Changes made to global and port-related Spanning Tree defaults will take affect if the device is running in STP, RSTP, or MSTP.
