One-way Delay

IP SLA calculates the one-way delay or jitter only if the end-point is an Extreme Networks device that supports IP SLA.

The one-way delay calculation requires all four timestamps, and it is broken down to Source-to-Destination and Destination-to-Source delays.

The following are the one-way delay calculations.

Source-to-Destination (SD) EchoRxTime – EchoTxTime

Destination-to-Source (DS) ReplyRxTime – ReplyTxTime
