Restricts the role of the port from becoming a root port.
The restricted role is disabled.
Interface configuration mode
Enter no spanning-tree restricted-role to return to the default setting.
To configure the port from becoming a root port:
device# configure terminal device(config)# interface ethernet 1/5 device(conf-if-eth-1/5)# spanning-tree restricted-role
