show ip pim rp-hash

Displays rendezvous-point (RP) information for a PIM Sparse group.

Syntax

show ip pim rp-hash rp-hash A.B.C.D [ vrf vrf-name ]

Parameters

A.B.C.D
Specifies the IP address of a PIM Sparse IP multicast group.
vrf vrf-name
Specifies a VRF.

Output

The show ip pim rp-hash command displays the following information:

Output Field

Description

RP

Indicates the IP address of the RP for the specified PIM Sparse group.

Info source

Indicates the source of the RP information. It can be a static-RP configuration or learned via the bootstrap router. If RP information is learned from the boot strap, the BSR IP address is also displayed.

The following example shows RP information for a PIM Sparse group.
