system-name

Sets the global system name specific to LLDP.

Syntax

system-name name

no system-name

The host name from the device is used.

name: Specifies a system name for the LLDP. The string must be between 1 and 32 ASCII characters in length.

Protocol LLDP configuration mode

Enter no system-name to delete the name.

To specify a system name for the LLDP:

device(conf-lldp)# system-name System10
