Configure the Open Shortest Path First Version 3 (OSPFv3) instance on circuitless IP (CLIP) interfaces for the Global Router or a specific Virtual Router Forwarding (VRF) instance.

Before you begin

  • Ensure the CLIP interface exists.
  • To perform this procedure on a non-default VRF, you must first change the VRF instance. For information about how to use EDM for a non-default VRF, see Select and Launch a VRF Context View. All parameters might not be available in non-default VRFs.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation pane, expand Configuration > IPv6
  2. Select IPv6.
  3. Select the Circuitless IPv6 tab.
  4. Select a CLIP interface.
  5. Select OSPF.
  6. Select enabled.
  7. Select the ellipsis (...) to choose an area ID, and then select Ok.
  8. Select Apply.

AdminStat

Enables the OSPFv3 instance on the CLIP interface.

AreaId

Assigns an OSPF area to the OSPFv3 instance.
