Configure Port Rate Limits
Configure broadcast, unknown unicast, and multicast bandwidth limiting to limit the amount of ingress traffic on a port. The switch drops traffic that violates the bandwidth limit.
Procedure
- On the Device Physical View, select a port or multiple ports.
- In the navigation pane, expand .
- Select General.
- Select the Rate Limiting tab.
- In the row for the required traffic type, configure the bandwidth limit in AllowedRatePps.
- In the row for the required traffic type, select true for Enable.
- Select Apply.

Displays the type of traffic being rate limited, either broadcast/unknown unicast or multicast traffic. The default is broadcast, which means both broadcast and unknown unicast traffic. |

Specifies the allowed traffic rate limit for the port in packets per second (pps). 1–65535 configures the limit in packets for each second. The default is 25. |
Enable |
Enables or disables rate limiting. The default is false or disabled. |
