Configure LST

About this task

Use this procedure to configure LST groups.

In the navigation pane, expand Configuration > Edit.
Select Link State Tracking
Select the Link State Tracking tab.
Select a GroupId row to configure.
To add upstream ports to the LST group, double-click UpstreamPortList, select the upstream ports to add, and then select OK.
To add downstream ports to the LST group, double-click DownstreamPortList, select the upstream ports to add, and then select OK.
To add an upstream MLT to the LST group, double-click UpstreamMltList, and then type an upstream MLT ID.
To add a downstream MLT to the LST group, double-click DownstreamMltList, and then type an upstream MLT ID.
To enable an LST group, double-click Enabled, and then select true.
To activate the LST group configuration, select Apply.
View the OperState of the LST groups to verify the current operating state.

Name	Description
GroupId	Specifies the LST group number between 1 and 48.
Enabled	Specifies if the LST group is enabled. Values are true or false. Default is false.
UpstreamPortList	Specifies upstream interface ports in the LST group.
DownstreamPortList	Specifies downstream interface ports in the LST group.
UpstreamMltList	Specifies an upstream multi-link trunk in the LST group.
DownstreamMltList	Specifies a downstream multi-link trunk in the LST group.
OperState	Displays the current operating status of the LST group. Values are up, down, or notConfigured.
