Configure Custom Option Data for DHCP Server Globally

Use this procedure to configure global custom option data for DHCP Server. Unless you create a subnet-specific configuration, subnets inherit the global configuration.

Before you begin

You must first configure Custom Option Definitions. For more information, see Configure Custom Option Definitions for the DHCP Server.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation pane, expand Configuration > IP.
  2. Select DHCP Server.
  3. Select the Custom Option Data tab.
  4. Select Insert.
  5. In ID, type the DHCP code that you defined for the option.
  6. In Value, type the data value to assign to the option.
  7. Select Insert.

Custom Option Data Field Descriptions

Use the data in the following table to use the Custom Option Data tab.

Name Description
ID Specifies the DHCP code that identifies this Custom Option. Must be an integer in the range from 224 to 254.
Value Assigns a data value to this Custom Option. The value must use the data type format that is specified in the Custom Option definition.
