Configure LLDP-MED Emergency Call Service Location

Perform the following procedure to configure emergency call service location of local LLDP-MED on specific ports.

  1. Enter GigabitEthernet Interface Configuration mode:

    enable

    configure terminal

    interface GigabitEthernet {slot/port[/sub-port][-slot/port[/sub-port]][,...]}

    Note

    If the platform supports channelization and the port is channelized, you must also specify the sub-port in the format slot/port/sub-port.

  2. Configure emergency call service location:

    lldp location-identification ecs-elin WORD<10-25>

Example

Configuring emergency call service location on port 2/1–2/3:

Switch:1>enable
Switch:1#configure terminal
Switch:1(config)#interface gigabitEthernet 2/1–2/3
Switch:1(config-if)#lldp location-identification ecs-elin 123456789
