Configure a DNS Address for the DHCP Server

Use this procedure to configure a DNS address for the DHCP Server to advertise to clients.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation pane, expand Configuration > IP.
  2. Select DHCP Server.
  3. Select the Global DNS tab.
  4. Select Insert.
  5. In IP address, type an IPv4 address for the DNS server.
  6. Select Insert.

Global DNS Field Descriptions

Use the data in the following table to use the Global DNS tab.

Name Description

IP Address

Specifies the IPv4 address of the DNS server. You can enter a maximum of eight DNS servers.

Origin

Specifies the origin of DHCP Server configuration, either manually configured through CLI or EDM, or dynamically configured through RADIUS.
