If you do not have a domain ID, you cannot enable ESRP on that domain. A message similar to the following appears:
ERROR: Cannot enable ESRP Domain "esrp1" ; No domain id configured!If you add an untagged master VLAN to the ESRP domain, make sure to create an ESRP domain ID with the configure esrp domain-id command before you attempt to enable the domain.
The following command enables ESRP for the domain esrp1:
enable esrp esrp1
This command was first available in ExtremeXOS 11.0.
