resume vm vm_name


Resumes a virtual machine (VM) that has been suspended.

Syntax Description

vm Specifies a VM.
vm_name Specifies the VM name to resume.



Usage Guidelines

When you resume a VM, the CPU state of the VM continues from the point at which it was suspended.

To suspend the VM again, use the suspend vm vm_name command.


The following example resumes the VM "vm1":

# resume vm vm1


This command was first available in ExtremeXOS 30.7.

Platform Availability

This command is available on all platforms that support the Integrated Application Hosting (IAH) feature and have a Core or Premier license installed.
