show power

Description

Displays the number of power modules present and providing power in each slot.

Syntax Description

This command has no arguments or variables.

Usage Guidelines

This command is available on ExtremeSwitching X435, X440-G2, X450-G2, X460-G2, X465, X590, X620, X670-G2, X690, X695, X870, 5320, 5420, and 5520 series switches. However, it produces completely different output on a stack. The following table describes the flags that appear when this command is executed on an active node.

Power Supply Flag Meaning
Internal F Failed or no Power.
Internal P Power available.
Internal O 48V powered off (48p Summits only).
External (non 48P) - Empty.
External (non 48P) F Failed or no power.
External (non 48P) P Power available.
External (non 48P) Power supply can never occupy this position.
External (48P only) - Empty or no power to all PSUs present.
External (48P only) F Failed or no power (at least 1 PSU has power).
External (48P only) P Power available.

All ExtremeSwitching series switches accept an external power chassis that holds only one power supply. For ExtremeSwitching series switches, the External PSU columns are left blank.

For slots without active nodes, the slot number appears and the remainder of the row is blank.
