Use the iot-thread-gateway-network-name command to configure the IoT Thread Network name for the AP. Each AP391x, with integrated BLE/802.15.4 radios, creates a separate Thread Network. The iot-thread-gateway-network-name command is accessible from within the ap:<serial> context of the CLI.
| <network name> | Thread Network name. Default value is the AP serial number. Each AP creates a separate Thread Network identified with separate Short PAN ID and Extended PAN ID. |
The IoT functionality is supported on the AP3912i, AP3915, AP3916ic, and AP3917. Enable iot-admin before issuing this command and specify the iot-application as Thread Gateway.
The following example sets the iot-thread-gateway-network-name to 3915E00000000000 on an AP3915.
