Configure Hosts

Use this procedure to configure the Hosts tab in EDM for DHCP Server.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation pane, select Configuration > IP > DHCP Server.
  2. Select the Hosts tab.
  3. Enter the Subnet IP address and Subnet Mask.
  4. Enter the host Mac Address.
  5. In the IP field, enter the IPv4 address that you want to reserve for this host.
  6. In the Name field, enter the hostname that you want to assign to this host.
  7. In the TFTP Server IP field, enter the IPv4 address of the TFTP server that you want the host to use.
  8. In the TFTP Server Name field, enter the server name for the TFTP server that you want the host to use.
  9. In the TFTP Bootfile Name, enter the file name for the boot image that you want the host to use.
  10. Select Insert.

Hosts Field Descriptions

Use the data in the following table to configure the Hosts tab for DHCP Server.

Name Description
Subnet IP Specifies the network address of the subnet.
Subnet Mask Specifies the subnet mask for the DHCP subnet.
Mac Address Specifies the Mac address of the host.
IP Assigns an IPv4 address to the host.
Name Assigns a hostname to the host.
TFTP Server IP Specifies the IP address of the TFTP server that you want this host to use.
TFTP Server Name Specifies the server name of the TFTP server that you want this host to use.
TFTP Bootfile Name Specifies the file name of the TFTP boot image that you want this host to use.
