Description

Refresh of the specified policy in the given port failed, with the reason mentioned. The possible reasons could be 1. Hardware slice getting exhausted. 2. Incompatible match conditions in the specified rule.

Remedy

1. If the hardware is full, check if the total number of rules installed are within the supported limits. If not, reduce the number of rules. If they are already within the limit, try to rearrange the rules, so that rules with like match conditions are grouped together. Then try refreshing again. 2. Check the rule that has been mentioned in the error message and see if the conditions in that rule are compatible. Verify the concepts guide for the possible supported combinations and correct the rule accordingly. Then refresh the policy again.
