This message is displayed when an EAPS PDU has been received on port for which its LIF is Down. PDUs will be discarded.
Most likely this could be due to a timing related issue where the PDUs were already received in its queue. But, by the time their turn came to be processed, the ingress port was in Down state. In this situation, these PDUs will be discarded.
