Collect log output to isolate the underlying cause of error. Some possible scenarios could be failure to communicate messages correctly with clients or system. 'run [ip|ipv6] dad {{vr} <vr_name>} <ipaddress' may help resolve the issue. 'run dad' will redo the dad and thus help recover from the error
