The prior Master switch has either been timed out or it lost an ESRP election. If the links between the ESRP switches are still intact and operating, consult the prior Master's log for indications of an election loss. For instance, a port went down or was disabled, or a gateway IP ping failed (if ping tracking is enabled). Note that this condition may also occur if ESRP was disabled on the specified vlan.
