This procedure only applies to VSP 8600 Series.
Configure the switch to use NTPv3 or NTPv4. The default is NTPv3.
You must globally disable NTP before you change the version.
NTPv3 supports IPv4 addresses. NTPv4 supports both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.
