Access a Virtual Service Console

The virtual services running on a Virtual Machine (VM) require a console for configuration and monitoring purposes.

About this task

Perform this procedure to access the virtual service console port for the specific VM.

This command also works in Global Configuration mode but does not display if you use the question mark (?) help in that mode.

Procedure

  1. Enter Privileged EXEC mode:

    enable

  2. Enter the following command to access the virtual service console:

    virtual-service WORD<1-128> console

    Note

    Note

    Type CTRL+Y to exit the console.

Switch:1>enable
Switch:1#virtual-service tpvm console
