Configure x509 Certificate Identity

About this task

Use the following procedure to bind a certificate identity to the IKE certificate store.

Enter Global Configuration mode:

enable

configure terminal
Configure the certificate subject name:

ike certificate-identity cert-subject-name WORD<1-45>

The following table defines parameters for the ike certificate-identity command.


Variable	Value
cert-subject-name `WORD<1-45>`	Specifies the digital certificate subject name to be used as the identity certificate. If a subject name is not specified, the default subject name is Global.
