Viewing PIM-SM neighbor parameters
View PIM-SM neighbor parameters to troubleshoot connection problems or review the configuration.
Procedure
- In the navigation pane, expand the following folders: .
- Click PIM.
- Click the Neighbors tab.
Neighbors field descriptions
Use the descriptions in the following table to use the Neighbors tab.

Shows the slot and port number or VLAN ID of the interface used to reach this PIM neighbor. |

Shows the time since this neighbor became a neighbor of the local router. |

Shows the time remaining before the neighbor expires. |
