Configure Allowed IPv6 Networks
Configure IPv6 network addresses to determine the network addresses that BGP advertises. The allowed addresses determine the BGP networks that originate from the switch.

Before you begin

To perform this procedure on a non-default VRF, you must first change the VRF instance. For information about how to use EDM for a non-default VRF, see Select and Launch a VRF Context View. All parameters might not be available in non-default VRFs.

The VRF must have an RP trigger of BGP.
Procedure
- In the navigation pane, expand .
- Select BGP+.
- Select the Network tab.
- Select Insert.
- Configure the network address, prefix length, and metric.
- Select Insert.

Specifies the metric used when an update is sent for the routes in the network table. The metric configures the MED for the routes advertised to EBGP peers. The range is 0 to 65535. The default is 0. |
