Configure Port Speeds for All VIM Ports

Note

Note

This procedure only applies to VSP 4900 Series.

Configure all of the ports on an installed Versatile Interface Module (VIM) to operate at the same speed.

Note

Note

Some VIMs must operate with all ports at the same speed, while others can operate with ports at different speeds. For more information, see VOSS Release Notes. The sys vim-speed command is supported only on VIMs that must operate with all ports at the same speed. An error message displays if you run the command on an unsupported VIM.

Before you begin

Install the VIM before performing this procedure.
