The General tab is where you name your WLAN Profile and specify the general settings not related to security. Available fields are:

Specifies the Service Set Identifier (SSID) for devices. |

Specifies the protocol that the device can use [a, b, g, n (2.4 GHz), or n (5 GHz)]. |
VLAN |
Specifies the Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) the device is authorized to use. |
Association Limit |
Specifies the number of associations allowed per device. |
Station Timeout |
Specifies the number of seconds or minutes that a device has to become a sanctioned device. |
