Wireless Client Icons
There are various types of Wireless Clients. Each type has its own set of icons to
identify the Wireless Clients throughout the AirDefense GUI. The different types are:
- Default or
Un-categorized Devices—Default (used to identify Wireless Clients that
have not been associated with a specific type)
- MCDs—Describes the various icons used to represent the state of mobile
computing devices carried by employees
- VoIP
Phones—Describes the various icons used to represent the state of Voice
Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) devices in the network
- Laptops—Describes the various icons used to represent the state of Laptops
identified by AirDefense
- Employee
Laptops—Describes the various icons used to represent the state of
laptops assigned to employees as identified by AirDefense
- Employee
Phones—Describes the various icons used to represent the state of mobile
phones assigned to employees as identified by AirDefense
- Employee
Devices—Describes the various icons used to represent the state of
devices other than Laptops, MCDs, and Mobile Phones assigned to employees as
identified by AirDefense
- High Priority
Visitor Devices—Describes the various icons used to represent the state
of devices identified as High Priority Visitor devices
- Visitor
Devices—Describes the various icons used to represent the state of
visitor devices
- Low Priority
Visitor Devices—Describes the various icons used to represent the state
of devices identified as belonging to Low Priority Visitors
