Enables and disables auto-edge detection.
| stpd_name | Specifies an STPD (Spanning Tree Domain) name on the switch. |
| on | Enables auto-edge detection on the specified port. |
| off | Disables auto-edge detection on the specified port. |
| port_list | Specifies one or more ports or slots and ports. |
By default, auto-edge detection is on.

The following example enables auto-edge detection on port 1:10 in STP (Spanning Tree Protocol) domain r1:
configure stpd r1 ports auto-edge on 1:10
This command was first available in ExtremeXOS 15.7.1.
This command is available on the Summit X450-G2, X460-G2, X670-G2, X770, and ExtremeSwitching X440-G2, X590, X620, X690, X870 series switches.
