Configure a periodic timer to control the interval between signal failures.
ring-name | Alphanumeric string that identifies the ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) ring. |
default | The default value, 5000 milliseconds. |
milliseconds | The interval for the periodic time in milliseconds, with a range of 2000 to 7000. |
The default is 5000 milliseconds.
Use this command to configure a periodic timer to control the interval between signal failure.
The following command sets the periodic timer to 6000 milliseconds for an ERPS ring named “ring1”:
configure erps ring1 timer periodic 6000
