Description

Disables LDP for the switch.

Syntax Description

This command has no arguments or variables.

Default

Disabled.

Usage Guidelines

When LDP is disabled, all advertised LDP labels are withdrawn and LDP peer sessions are terminated. Note that this includes any LDP peer sessions established for L2 VPNs. By default, LDP is globally disabled. While LDP is transitioning to the enabled state, only the MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) show commands are accepted.

Example

The following command globally disables LDP on the switch:

disable mpls protocol ldp

This command was first available in ExtremeXOS 11.6.

Platform Availability

This command is available only on the platforms that support MPLS as described in the ExtremeXOS 22.7 Feature License Requirements document.
