Description

Deletes a variable.

Syntax Description

varname Specifies the name of the scripting variable to be deleted.

Default

N/A.

Usage Guidelines

The format of a local variable (case insensitive) is: $VARNAME.

Example

The following example deletes local variable x:
delete var x
