enable diffserv replacement ports [port_list | all] {{qosprofile} qosprofile}

Description

Enables the DiffServ code point to be overwritten in IP packets transmitted by the switch.

Syntax Description

port_list Specifies a list of ingress ports or slots and ports on which to enable Diffserv replacement.
all Specifies that DiffServ replacement should be enabled for all ports.
qosprofile Enables DiffServ replacement on a QoS (Quality of Service) profile.
Note: DiffServ replacement will be enabled for all QoS profiles if this option is not specified.
qosprofile Specifies the QoS profile number.

N/A.

Usage Guidelines

The Diffserv replacement feature functions for IPv4 and IPv6 traffic and is disabled by default.

The port in this command is the ingress port.

This command affects only that traffic in traffic groupings based on explicit packet class of service information and physical/logical configuration.

The following example enables DiffServ replacement on specified ports:

enable diffserv replacement ports 5:3,5:5,6:2

History

This command was first available in ExtremeXOS 11.0.

The qosprofile keyword and qosprofile variable were added in ExtremeXOS 16.1.

This command is available on the Summit X450-G2, X460-G2, X670-G2, X770, and ExtremeSwitching X440-G2, X590, X620, X690, X870 series switches.
